With Revu CAD or Extreme, you have access to Bluebeam Plugins you can take advantage of in a few ways. But what about when we print? If you think PDFs are getting too big now, what if all that metadata came with it. In design software, we can create a “Room” and indicate the flooring, wall and ceiling finishes and feed that information into live schedules. You name it, we must provide a location, and building information modeling (BIM) has helped us all see how everything fits together in fine detail. A pinpoint location is essential for foundations, walls, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) fixtures, maybe even furniture. Otherwise, only the underlying PDF content will be included in the snapshot. The key to any design or construction project is choosing specific materials and locating them in the right place and the correct phase of construction. Include Markups in Snapshots from Spaces: When enabled, markups are included in Snapshots from Spaces. Otherwise, only the underlying PDF content will be included in the snapshot. Include Markups in Snapshots: When enabled, markups are included in snapshots. Snapshots are pasted as bitmaps when you paste into another program. Snapshots are only pasted as vector when you paste within Revu. If this option is not checked, a raster image will be taken. The information is stored much more efficiently and generates high-resolution representation of the snapshot region. Take Vector Snapshots: When enabled, Revu preserves the vector elements of the snapshot region as vector data. The Snapshot is pasted as it appears in the PDF when it is pasted within Revu. The resolution is only used when the Snapshot is pasted into another program. Generally the setting should be between 96 and 300 DPI. Resolution: Sets the DPI at which raster snapshots will be taken. Go to Settings > Preferences or press CTRL+K.Select Snapshot from the Preferences dialog box to view or modify these preferences. The Snapshot Preferences contain settings for the control of snapshots in Revu. Snapshot Preferences Snapshot Preferences
